BGE adjusts Connected Rewards Strategy for Launch During Covid-19 Pandemic
After more than 10 years of successful demand response efforts, BGE planned to expand its suite of offerings with the launch of the Connected Rewards program scheduled for April 2020. However, when the pandemic hit, BGE paused the launch and pivoted the program marketing to position Connected Rewards as a way to put money back into customers’ pockets and navigate trying times.
