Austin Energy Reaches a New Generation With EV Education

Getting the next generation involved is central to Austin Energy’s goals when it comes to encouraging EV adoption. To that end, the utility has used its “EVs For Schools” program to reach kids - and teachers - of varied backgrounds in an effort to educate and inspire. 

This endeavor has been recognized with a Silver Award for Electric Vehicle Programs in Chartwell's 2024 Best Practices Awards.
