Best Practices – Program Marketing – Increasing Peak Day Event Text Alert Enrollment – PG&E – 2018

In March 2016, PG&E piloted an SMS/text alert version of its email-based Peak Day Pricing Enhanced Event Season Support. After the pilot’s conclusion in October 2016, PG&E scaled it into a program to connect with the nearly 300,000 California small and medium businesses on Peak Day Pricing. PG&E’s integrated marketing campaign to increase adoption of the notification service took home Chartwell’s 2017 Silver Award in Program Marketing.
