Frequently Asked Questions:

• What is the cut off date for booking a discounted hotel room and what is included in the room rate?

  You may book your room at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld® with the link provided in your confirmation email no later than Wednesday, September 28th. 

   

  Please note that a $25 resort fee is included in the room rate.

• Is there parking at the hotel?

  Yes. When paying for parking, mention that you were attending the EMACS Conference to receive 50% off.

• What safety measures are you taking onsite to provide a safe environment?

  During the conference and all conference events, staff, attendees, speakers, and exhibitors will be required to follow current local safety measures.

• What is the attire for the conference?

  Business casual. Temperatures in conference halls may fluctuate widely. If you are prone to feeling cold you may want to bring along a sweater or jacket.

• What networking opportunities are there?

  In addition to our networking receptions and meals, we’ve scheduled 30-minute breaks each morning and afternoon to give you ample time to interact with fellow utility professionals, conference sponsors and exhibitors.

• Will there be Wi-Fi?

  Yes, there will be free Wi-Fi available in all meeting spaces. Sign-in info will be provided on conference communications or ask a Chartwell employee for assistance!

• What if I have a special need, such as a dietary restriction?

  Please let us know as far in advance as possible about any special needs or requests by contacting Shannon Murdie at smurdie@chartwellinc.com.

• Will slides be available after the conference?

  Yes, we will email all presentations to attendees within the following week.
