How to Proactively Inform Customers of Critical Events Within TCPA Guidelines

Utilities are increasingly using outbound calling or text messaging to notify customers of planned or unplanned outages. In 2023 Chartwell hosted a webinar to discuss lawful communications categories within TCPA Safe Harbor rules, as well as the Act’s rules protecting utilities from liability. Moreover, the event explained the opportunity that utilities have to use proactive communications to effectively and lawfully communicate about load shed events.
